Poster and Presentation

Bachelor

• Use the following template: download.

• Dimensions must be standard (70x100).

• It must include:

  • the title of the paper,

  • the name of the candidate and of the supervisor(s),

  • a short summary of about 400 characters (spaces excluded),

  • a clear indication of the objective of the thesis and the results obtained,

  • some illustrations regarding the results obtained and/or the architecture of the implemented system,

  • a clear indication of the conclusions of the thesis,

• The poster must be validated by the supervisor before the graduation session.

• When preparing the poster, one must take into account the following indications:

  • A few minutes (usually 3 to 5) will be reserved for the presentation and to answer any questions by the committee.

  • Using a font smaller than the template size is not recommended.

  • The poster must be basic but complete.

  • Limited changes to the standard structure can be made, but need to be agreed on with the supervisor. For example, you can change titles of frames, or style elements.

DEMO: In case the thesis requires the implementation of software it is possible, but not mandatory, to do a live demonstration.

Master

The presentation must:

1. be of at most 5 minutes,

2. be made in digital format (PowerPoint or, preferably, PDF),

3. be informative, that is, understandable even to non-experts,

4. focus on the contribution of the thesis,

5. not be flowerly,

6. be validated by the supervisor before the graduation session.
